The AMELIE research team was delighted to be invited to present at the Big Bowel Event on 22nd August 2024.
The Big Bowel Event is an online patient webinar hosted by Bowel Research UK, this time in conjunction with the Royal Society of Medicine. The event featured three sessions on diverticular disease, the gut microbiome, and surgical & interventional science.
Professor Richard Day presented an overview of the AMELIE project, and was followed by AMELIE patient representative Sarah Laws, who described her experience of robotic surgery.
