No entanto, a literatura identifica de forma consistente os seguintes grupos etiol\u00f3gicos principais.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong> Les\u00e3o obst\u00e9trica do esf\u00edncter anal (OASI)<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>A les\u00e3o obst\u00e9trica \u00e9 amplamente considerada como a <strong>a causa identific\u00e1vel mais comum de incontin\u00eancia fecal nas mulheres<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Principais conclus\u00f5es:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A OASI ocorre em 2,9% de todos os partos vaginais no Reino Unido e em 6% das mulheres que d\u00e3o \u00e0 luz pela primeira vez. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.researchgate.net\/publication\/365355927_The_incidence_of_anal_incontinence_following_obstetric_anal_sphincter_injury_OASI_graded_using_the_Sultan_classification_A_network_meta-analysis\">(Okeahialam et al., 2022)<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Mais de <strong>20% das mulheres podem vir a sofrer de incontin\u00eancia anal nos cinco anos seguintes ao parto vaginal<\/strong>, embora a gravidade dos sintomas varie. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.researchgate.net\/publication\/365355927_The_incidence_of_anal_incontinence_following_obstetric_anal_sphincter_injury_OASI_graded_using_the_Sultan_classification_A_network_meta-analysis\">(Okeahialam et al., 2022)<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ol start=\"2\">\n<li><strong> Envelhecimento e degenera\u00e7\u00e3o do pavimento p\u00e9lvico<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>A idade \u00e9 um dos fatores de risco mais importantes para a FI.
