A incontinência fecal (IF) é uma doença comum que afecta cerca de 67 milhões de pessoas na Europa. Muitas destas pessoas podem ser incontinentes devido a uma lesão - muitas vezes resultante do parto. A investigação da AMELIE em medicina regenerativa e terapia celular tem como objetivo ajudar estas pessoas. Como parte do projeto AMELIE, utilizámos um inquérito para saber o que as pessoas pensam sobre a IF e a medicina regenerativa em diferentes países europeus.
