The AMELIE project’s external partners provide an important route for early and ongoing engagement with business and industry. The consortium is also building on established relationships with manufacturers to support the future development of the technology.<\/div>\n
Working closely with industry will help identify and address the challenges associated with commercialising the implantable cell\u2013microcarrier therapy, while creating opportunities for its further translational development for faecal incontinence and other potential clinical applications.<\/div>\n
